I hate to think how old this bookmark is — well over 30 years. I lived a few doors down on Harbord Street in Toronto at the time. The Fifth Kingdom is no longer there, but now, across the street, are two lovely used bookstores, a snack shop as well as the offices of my literary agent.

I hate to think how old this bookmark is — well over 30 years. I lived a few doors down on Harbord Street in Toronto at the time. The Fifth Kingdom is no longer there, but now, across the street, are two lovely used bookstores, a snack shop as well as the offices of my literary agent.

Where in Toronto can you now find books that the Fifth Kingdom used to carry, i.e. "The New Man", "Theory of Celestial Influence" - both by Rodney Collin, student of Gurdjief - and, by the way, Gurdjief's books?
Try the Used bookstore on Yonge/Eglinton, North/East corner, just beyond the subway entrance. Also if they are still in print, Indigo will order books in but it's no fun ordering books online.
Are we open to the public ?
